The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

Author: John Green

Publisher: Penguin Books

Cost : Rs 399

Number of pages:313

John Green’s “Fault In Our Stars is a very thrilling book. My favourite character was Isaac, because even though he had a very little role to play, he appeared honest, modest and humourous. This book is The New York Times Bestseller, so obviously the author has succeeded.

I have heard my friends saying that this book is marvellous and when I finished it, for me it was more than that. This book is filled with comedy, tragedy, seriousness and what not? I want to read John Green’s “Let It Snow” next.

The protagonist of this book is Hazel and Augustus or simply Gus. Hazel is suffering from tumour and her parents want her to join the support group, which she regrets at first but later was happy with that. She meets Gus there, and they become friends. There is also another parallel story - Hazel likes the book “An Imperial Affliction” written by Van Houten and wants to know what happened when the book got finished {because the book was not completed by the author}. These two scenes take the main part of this book. Hazel’s friend Gus too suffers from cancer, but in spite of suffering from these diseases, they live like normal people. Fear is not a solution to all your problems.

Read this book and enjoy maximum.
