No Greater Love is a heart touching as well as a roundabout love story written by Danielle Steel. This book like the other books of the author contains some parts which makes us emotional. The protagonists of the book are the Winfields, Edwina, George and Alexis in particular, Sam Horowitz, Patrick Sparkskelly and many more.
The story is set in the time of 1912-1923. It starts by introducing us to the Winfields. Then they are found to be going on the great ship Titanic. Edwina, the oldest among the six children of Bert and Kate is engaged to Charles Fitzegerald who accompanies them on this journey. After three days of journey on the Titanic, she hits an iceberg and sinks. The young Winfields escape but Charles and their parents die. Edwina is left with the responsibility to raise her siblings and also with the responsibility of running the family paper. Adding to all these there is still the pain of the loss, the first world war, her siblings attending haward, death of her loved ones, Alexis eloping and many more. The ending of the book is something which none of us will ever expect. Read this wonderful piece of writing to experience sorrow, joy and some other feelings.
