The book Great Expectations is a good book. It is calssic series. My friend Anvar told me it is good book. After reading this I felt what Anvar told me was correct. I issued this book from the library.The story is about a boy named Pip. In this story he met a thief and obeyed the thief whatever he said. He has a sister and she is married by a person named Joe. Pip was not educated. One day a man named Pmbleshook said he would take Pip to a rich lady named Miss. Havisham. After reaching Havisham`s house he met a girl named Estella. He did many works for Havisham. When he grew up he came back to his house. After one year the name of Estella came to his mind and he decided to see her. He went to Havisham`s house for seeing Estella. Unfortunately he was not there, she had gone another place for her education. When he came back Joe told him that his sisters memory got lost.
One day a person named Jaggers came with an offer for educating him in London,he agreed and went to London. After some months he got a letter from Joe, saying that his sister has dead.
He came to know that Estella was educating in London. Later Pip become to know that his sponser who has spent money for education was not Jaggers but Magwitch,the thief he met in childhood. Pip was thinking that Estella was Havisham`s daughter, but Magwitch told Estella was his daughter who was once lost. After saying this Magwitch died. Pip got more painful on hearing the sad news that Estella got married. After some months he went to Havisham`s house and came to know that Havisham was no more. On the way back to his home he met Estella. From her words he came to know that she hasn`t got a good life with her husband
and he is no more. After hearing this Pip took Estella`s hand and walked away.
This story is written in simple english. Mind attracting pictures are included. You should also read this book.
