He is a wonderful author . His other books are Secret Seven , Mystery Series , etc.Out of 21 books of Famous Five this is the 12th book .

In this book they are living in a farmer's house named Mr. Penruthlan and his wife Mrs. Penruthlan . There they found a small child named Yan . He was following them all the way they had gone . One day the 5 members including their dog will go to the boy's house and see his grandfather for asking a secret way known as Wreckers Way .
He told them about the wreckers way that is a secret way , it cannot be told to them . He is the last person knowing about the wreckers way , but the boy called Yan also knw the way . One day the 2 boys of the Famous Five saw Mr. Penruthlan on a night , but he says he was on the stable . When they go to explore the lighthouse , one man closed them to a room . And at last the boy Yan rescue them and catch the smugglers . That time they realise Mr. Penruthlan was not a smuggler but a person working for catch the smugglers .
