I read this book only a few days ago.The secret seven are again to help someone.They dont have a meeting for a long time when suddenly one day Jack asks Peter to hold a meeting.
Everyone is exited.In the meeting a boy named Bob also comes with Jack as he wanted help from the secret seven. He says that a man named Tolly is in trouble.
The seven go to Tolly and ask about his problem. Tolly said that he worked for a man. He used to feed that man's horse,takes care and uses the horse for the owner's works etc. The horse was also very fond of Tolly. One day when the horse was carrying a heavy load,the horse fell down and hurt it's leg. the master was blaming Tolly for that.He had to pay 300 pounds for the horse or he would shoot the horse. Tolly didnt want the horse to be shot because he loved the horse very much.Tolly was a poor man and could not give him a lot of money. The secret seven ask Tolly to come to the stable of . Peter's father and Tolly is greatful to Peter's father and the secret seven.Tolly also has a pet dog .
Peter's dog Scamper also made friends with Tolly's dog. One day the horse's master found out that Tolly was in the stable of Peter's father and he began to shout at Peter's father and Tolly. Peter's father gave the master of the horse 300 pounds for time bieng and Tolly assured Peter's father that he would return the money slowly but surely. One night there came the horse theives. There was a loud noise going on. Peter's sister Janet was awaken by the noise and woke her parents and Peter.
Tolly was crying for help. Janet's mother , father and Tolly were fighting with the theives when, Peter and Janet called the cops. The cops came and arrested the theives. At last all of them were relieved and were happy that Tolly and the horse was safe.
THREE CHEARS FOR THE SECRET SEVEN!!They again helped someone . Thanks again to Bob...
